Description: MEASURES: Hight: 5,5 inch; Diameter: 9,25 inch CONDITIONS: Perfect in every way DESCRIPTION: Beautiful gilt bronze riser enriched with large bas-relief leaves and acorns, with a high thickness. Signed on the plate A. Marionnet, an important French sculptor, was born in 1852 and died in 1910, so it is a piece of the late 1800s in clear Liberty style. Note the fabulous mercury gilding, straw yellow, very light and the even more beautiful patination with spotted brown enamel, the bottom of the tray and the smooth part of the pedestal. In the last photos, some auction results achieved by some pieces of this sculptor. A pair of lamps fetched more than 3,000 euros plus auction fees, we go to almost 4,000 euros, a vase of only 16 cm listed from 1,000 to 1,500 pounds several years ago. To note, finally, the fabulous ancient patina that covers the whole piece, absolutely fascinating. ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE MISSED !!
