Description: Complete antique Aladdin Alacite Lincoln Drape Oil Lamp NuType Model B, in beige ivory-color glass, with Aladdin mark chimney & floral shade. (Small print around edge and face of burner knob reads "Mantle Lamp Co, Patents Pending, made in U.S.A., Chicago ILL") This lamp is NOT electrified, and is offered as-is because lamp needs a correct or proper cap for the oil reservoir; the "cap" you see in the photos is an attractive drawer pull substitute. Lamp is in excellent condition, and seller does not see any aesthetic issues to describe. Lamp stands 19 1/2" tall without chimney in place, 26" tall with chimney installed; its ruffled top shade measures about 10" in diameter. Chimney bayonets into burner assembly, which burner unscrews from oil reservoir. Please note that while a mantle is installed, and the burner knob easily adjusts wick height, this lamp has only been used for decor. Put differently, it has not been burned for lighting since time out of mind, so seller cannot say how suited it would be to actual use. Note that lamp will be shipped disassembled, that is, with its component parts wrapped separately.
