Description: Color lithograph circa 1970 of a female figure and a white Picassoesque bird at right, numbered 9/275 and pencil signed by the well listed Spanish artist Agustin Ubeda (1925-2007) at lower right. Ubeda was influenced by Goya, Picasso and Chagall. He was a professor in the fine arts late in life, before passing away in Madrid in 2007. His original modern paintings with their typically complex imagery have sold to the $10,000 area or above at auction. The print measures 17" by 23 1/4" inside the mat and 24" by 30" framed. The certificate of authenticity of The Collector's Guild Ltd./Societe de Verification de la Nouvelle Gravure Internationale remains affixed to the backing. The print is clean, paper exhibits even, normal toning from age. There are some drips on the INSIDE of the glass at lower right below the print over the mat.
