Description: This is a FABULOUS old letterman's sweater. It's all Wool & the letter S is woven into the sweater - not a sewn-on patch like so many of them. I feel like based on the style and the look of the tag, it might be 1920's timeframe. We are not sure what school it might have been for. Perhaps just generic. There were 5-6 small holes where the stitching was starting to come loose. I carefully hand stitched them closed. They did not look like moth damage at all. Just age, I think. The only issue I would point out is the staining on the letter, We have NOT attempted to treat it. No size, so see measurements. Around a medium. I would say this item is likely more for display than for actually wearing, based on the age. It's clearly very well made. Selling on eBay for 27 years, so bid with confidence.
