Description: Here is a vintage Aermotor engine for sale, I am listing it as is, used. Very nice engine IMO, not a lot of them around in this condition, I would suggest if you are a discriminating collector this might be a good match for you! I will as accurately as possible list the details of this very nice eight-cycle Aermotor:- Recent restoration, engine looks to be 100% original, (comparing it with photos from the original owners manual). - Ran it a few days ago, no issues were noticed, ran very well IMO for an engine of it's time.- Complete, no detected CBWs or parts missing to the best of my knowledge.- Mounted on a very nice custom-made wooden base/skid currently mounted on wheels for easy movement.- Has original ignitor that is functional, powered by a six volt battery-fired factory "make and break ignition". - Recently bead-blasted and coated inside of gas tank and painted outside of the gas tank.- Engine serial numbers are cryptic/difficult to read, my guess is this engine was manufactured between 1910 - 1920.- Shipping is optional, I prefer local pickup (area code 30519).- My estimate is the engine weighs between 200-275 pounds (including the base).
