Ha was President of the College of Paediatric Gastroenterology if Portugal and member of Ethics Committee of ESPGHAN. He is member of SPGP, ESPGHAN, LASPGHAN and SEGHNP. He has been distinguished as Honorary Member of the Hungarian Pediatric Gastroenterology Society.Isabel Polanco is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics. Autonomous University of Madrid,Spain.
