Description: Thomas Cassin Kinkaid [1888 1972] was a prominent Admiral of the United States Navy during World War II who was referred to as a ''fighting admiral'' a nickname received for his actions while serving as the commander of the Seventh Fleet in the Pacific Theatre of War. Admiral Kinkaid began his naval career in 1908, and was a veteran of World War I, and the Greco-Turkish War. During World War II Kinkaid commanded the Allied Fleet at numerous important naval battles including the Battle of Leyte Gulf which was the largest naval battle of World War II and the last naval battle between battleships in military history. Listed for auction is the autograph of Admiral Thomas Cassin Kinkaid signed on his personal four-star autograph card as Commander of the Seventh Fleet. The autograph is nicely signed ''Thomas C. Kinkaid Admiral U.S Navy'' in blue fountain pen. The card measures 3.75 x 3.50 inches, it has trivial toning/creasing otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic, and the four-star autograph card is a desirable example of this prominent United States naval commander.
