The hoop was not original to the piece, but it was handy and I'll include. This adjusts to hold a large hoop down to a small one. The space between the 2 supports is 18" (the wood base is 23" long & almost 5" wide). Each support is 7" tall, and fully adjustable. All pieces are present and tighten / loosen well. Piece will disassemble for easier shipping. Great needlework aid.
