Description: The goblet for sale is a classic example of Early American Pattern Glass that was produced in the late nineteenth century. The manufacturer was Adams & Co who named the pattern "Moon & Stars" or "Palace". The pattern has enjoyed a long period of popularity due to the high relief bullseyes with stars in the center and zipper outlined inverted teardrops. There are incised stars in the bottom of the foot. The design has fabulous light bending properties. The goblet displays three mold lines. The goblet was previously owned. There are no chips, cracks nor wear. The goblet was rarely if ever used to serve beverages. The height and diameter are 5 7/8" and 3 1/4".
