Effect; "The performer displays seven illustrated cards - six of which displays cobwebs and one a sneaky spider. One of the cobweb cards is placed aside face down on the table, (or even in a spectators pocket.) The spider card is now reversed face down and a web card is also reversed face down in the fan of six cards. A spectator is then asked to point out which one is the spider card. But, when reversed it proves to be a web card and is then placed aside. Another web card is reversed, and again spectator asked to point to the spider card. Once again he is wrong. This is repeated again leaving you with two face up web cards, and one face down spider card. However, when the face down card is reversed it is another web - where has the spider gone? For the climax of the effect the web card - Originally placed aside is now reversed - and there is the spider nesting in his web!" This is a fun magic trick to perform for children and young people. The props are interesting, simple, unique and are also well made. This type of magic effect also lends itself to story telling magic I think. This trick does require the use of a very simple card move called a double-lift. The degree of difficulty for the double-lift move on a scale of 1 to 10 is no more than a 1 1/2. It really is the easiest sleight of hand move I can think of. Most children 10 or older would have no problem mastering a double-lift.
