Description: Adafruit AMG8833 IR Thermal Camera Breakout BoardTake temperature measurements using the Adafruit AMG8833 breakout board. The basis of the board is the Panasonic IR sensor, which internally consists of an array of 8x8 infrared thermal sensors. The sensor enables 64 individual IR measurements simply via I2C.The measuring range of the sensor is from 0˚C to 80˚C with a measuring accuracy of ± 2.5˚C and a measuring frequency of 10Hz. For example, people can be detected from a distance of 7m. The board is ideal for developing your own thermal camera or for detecting people or warm-blooded animals, for example. The control via I2C is easy with the libraries provided by Adafruit and can be done via Arduino board or Raspberry Pi. In addition, the sensor has an interrupt output that is triggered when a previously specified temperature threshold for a measurement or is exceeded or fallen short of by one pixel. The board has level converters and can be operated with both 3.3V and 5V. The scope of delivery includes the board and a pin strip, which you can solder on if required. For more information, datasheet, tutorial and Arduino library, visit GitHub: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-amg8833-8x8-thermal-camera-sensorNew (Open box from OME) and free shipping.
