Author Biography Geoffrey Brown has been a collector of organizational acronyms since 1965, in addition to "day jobs" in finance and technology. He now is the Managing Partner of Between the Lakes Group, LLC, publishers of local history, genealogy, and Americana. His main research interests are in social and local history of the United States, especially Connecticut and New York State. His prior books include a genealogy of the Hodgkin/Hotchkin family of Guilford, CT, and an earlier collection of organizational acronyms called "What Does THAT Stand For?"
