Description: This is an Acoma Pueblo pottery jar by master potter Lolita Concho (1914 - 2000). This small pot measures 2.9 inches tall by 3.1 inches in diameter; is hand-built with local clay, has very thin wall construction; has hand-painted fine line black on white decoration; and is signed "L. Concho" and "1970". It is in very good condition, A classic piece by one of Acoma's historically important potters. Lolita Concho was born at Acoma Pueblo and spent her life there at the pueblo making pottery for tourists, collectors and museums. She was active from the 1930's through the 1980's and beyond.
