Description: Absolutely Lovely! Vintage powder compact. German. 1930s. This is a finely made piece, in beautiful vintage condition! It is a slightly domed, creamy teal color enamel w/a heavy gilt band of embossed florals, encircling the center transposed scene. The bottom enamel has two small flecks off. The base metal is shining goldtone, on rims, inner frame & cover plate w/centered cartouche. Mirror frame marked ‘Germany’. Beveled mirror, is good, but has small bit of oxidation on one side. Has cloth sifter. All closures are firm. A treasure! (See photos for specifics). 2.75” diameter x .5”. **These items are a part of a huge collection, most of which has been stored for over 20 years.
