Tap is new in original box. Excellent condition. This one has a real weathered old school Nola appearance. Wrought iron use was very common throughout the old city. Graveyard gates, balconies in the French Quarter and fences on private properties. Looks medieval with traditional Fleur-de-lis topper (lily flower in English) and pewter hops. It represents New Orleans rich French and European heritage. Beautifully done. Looks and feels like real metal. Not cheap and lightweight. Stands about 12-3/4 inches tall. FACTS: Wrought iron contains less carbon and additional slag filaments which makes it more durable and pliable for molding into shapes while maintaining a corrosion resistant product. When etched, rusted or force bent it shows a wood grain appearance. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
