Description: ABG Alt Beck Gottschalk Bisque Head Doll 1362 Sweet Nell 26 in Blue Eyes Germany Click images to enlarge Description Listed here is a Blonde, 26 inch, bisque head German doll, Sweet Nell, with jointed composition body by ABG or Alt, Beck and Gottschalck from about 1912. Doll is marked AGT Made in Germany 1362 and 3 1/2 on the back of the head. This pretty doll has blue glass eyes sleep eyes, open mouth with 4 visible teeth, pierced ears and earrings, painted lashes and brows. She has a blonde replacement wig of human hair. All fingers and toes are accounted for. She has a jointed composition body. Doll is in good condition. Joints are strong, not loose. I find some wear and dings on comp body. I find no damage to bisque head. Clothes are clean and in good condition. Pate was solidly glued to head but recently removed so that head could be stuffed for safe shipping to prevent eyes from moving. Doll is wearing a two piece period outfit of dress, undergarment, shoes and socks. These are replacement items. This is doll displays well.
