Description: Poster from 1993 for an exhibition of artwork by Abe Ajay (1919-1998). Signed by the artist in silver marker. Provenance: This poster is new old stock that has sat in its tube in the archives of the Babcock Galleries for over 30 years since the exhibition. We are dissolving the remaining stock of artwork and archives from the gallery, as the beloved scholar who owned and operated it has passed away, and the oldest commercial gallery dedicated exclusively to American art, founded in 1852, alas is now closed.
