Description: This is an antique & primitive millinery or hat mold! It was hand made with many pieces of wood joined together; size is: 8" diameter X 3 3/4" high & is VERY heavy! CONDITION: Primitive, hand made, AAFA, from the 1800's, not symmetrical (lopsided--not perfectly round), lots of tiny dings, pinprick holes, age, use, light staining, old wood splitting, etc,,,, some old writing on the bottom.This would look great in with a collection of antique molds or primitives!
