Zildjian & CIE Vintage 16" Crash Cymbal - PROFESSIONALLY REPAIRED This is a very beautiful and sought-after series of cymbals, designed by Zildjian to be as close to their vintage (pre-60s) cymbals as possible. This particular crash was made in 2010, and has a small repaired section on its edge. However, this repair does not affect the cymbal's sound or playability at all. The cymbal has a lovely shimmering, mellow sound. It would be very much at home playing jazz or other softer styles of music, but actually it's very versatile and would sound great in most applications. It sounds to me a lot closer to a K or one of Paiste's top lines of cymbals than a Zildjian A.
