Description: A "Used" Wilson "Fat Shaft," 48 Degree Loft, Cavity Back Pitching Wedge! Wilson sure gave this club the right namewhen they named it Fat Shaft! In comparison, a stiff flex shaft nr a True Temper shaft is .380/3/8ths inch at the hosel, and .420/about 27/64ths inch when the shaft goes into the grip. The "Fat" Shaft is .400 diameter at the hosel, and .520diameter, which is .020 larger than 1/2 inch, where it enters the grip. So even though the shaft sticker is unreadable, I'm pretty sure this shaft is a STIFF flex. The club head has about the average amount of nicks and dings from bag rattle, but the club face is good and clean. This odd Fat Shaft does not have any steps in it from the hosel to the grip, and is nice and shiny. Look at the pics of the shaft, and you can see the color blue. That is the color of my camera reflecting off the shaft. The grip is a Golf Pride Mid Size "Softie" and is in good shape, but I still recommend a scrubbing or two with saddle soap.
