There's a previous owner's small inscription on the front inside cover. Otherwise clean and tight. On the back inside cover, there's a rough map of the Mississippi river and the Helen Mar's various destinations in Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota. The only illustration is that on the front cover, with the book consisting entirely of the captain's log entries. This slim booklet is a rather scarce title.
