Description: A Simple Solution To...THE MARRIAGE MESSAuthor: Jack T ChickISBN: 9780758914477Pages: 224 - PaperbackPrice: ̶$̶1̶4̶.̶9̶5̶ Every Christian home is under attack! Here's help: simple, workable ideas to improve your marriage are portrayed in the Miller family. Scripturally treated, their problems are really not so impossible after all. A Jack Chick Classic! Every Christian home is under attack! What would happen if a dedicated Christian missionary were to spend a month at your house? What if he found an ordinary, contemporary family? (GULP!) What a mess! Would he understand all that was going on? Would he be “culture shocked?” Or would he realize, after years of living abroad, that this home was as much of a mission field as a foreign country? What if he didn’t condemn the people, but rather strove to be a godly example? And what if, over time, he won each individual to a saving knowledge of, and appreciation for, God and His holy words in the Bible? In The Marriage Mess, Mark is a seasoned veteran, with seventeen years on the mission field in Africa. But he made it through hardships, including the death of his wife, because of his reliance on the holy words of God in the Bible and the principles they teach. Could they help tame the wilds of a suburban household? Could they help a mischievous boy and a teenage girl? And could they help to untangle The Marriage Mess? Once again, Jack Chick was decades ahead of his time. And he was unafraid to confront some very tough topics. The Marriage Mess is a roller coaster. Just when you think things are starting to settle down, up comes another situation, requiring more patience and trust and kindness on the part of the missionary for this misguided family. This book teaches that all marriages will work if practiced according to biblical principles. Very easy to read and a wonderful resource book for marriage counsellors. I am so happy about getting this book. As always Jack Chick uses interesting artwork to show how a family should work to help lift each other up. Jack Chick uses art and the word of God to show how to adhere to Gods plan. It arrived in good condition and within the time frame I was told. Very happy with my purchase and as this is difficult to get I feel this is one of the treasured items in my library. A Solution To . . . The Marriage Mess was the Holy Grail for this longtime Chick tract evangelist and collector. I was so glad when I finally located a copy a few years ago. It was first published in 1978 and has long since been out of print. But now, it's available from Pass the Word KJB.
