A retro Junghans Electronic ATO-Mat S wall clock in a brushed aluminium surround

Description: The is a working Junghans ATO electro-mechanical wall clock. It runs off 1.5 volts. The movement was licensed by ATO and features a battery driving a mechanical balance wheel movement. This represented the transition from purely mechanical clocks to the later quartz movements. The domed glass is plastic and the clock has a second hand and it is mounted in a spun aluminium frame.. The chapter rings are red and white markings on black background. Plastic domed clear dial cover with silvered hands. Like similar clocks the clock needs to be rotated quite well so the the balance wheel starts it swing.
