Description: Priced to clear with no reserve as I am reducing my collection These are a really special and pretty unique original pair of big 1930s ' Wells ' Made in England clockwork , tinplate lithograph model cars . They are not perfect as you would expect for over 90 years old but are nevertheless remarkable survivors . They are not identical only differing in decorative features and colour tones , one has Made In England embossed on a door with '8 Cylinder' printed on the spare wheel whilst the other has Wells Made in England printed on its spare wheel . They operate via a clockwork key mechanism with steering and both work , on is missing the easily replaced square pattern key , They also feature battery operated headlights but the wiring and a modern battery set would have to be added as the vintage system is no good. They also both feature a chauffeur driver , steering wheel and dashboard which are present . One has its sunroof panel missing but could be very easily replicated from the other should you choose , they otherwise appear complete . They measure approximately 37cm in length. A beautiful rare collector addition or mancave , garage feature. Perfect examples can command four figures plus individually so this pair is a real bargain .
