Description: A nice Rikyu Japanese cast iron tea pot Light Green - new with tags!Great opportunity for the tea lover! This listing is for a nice Japanese cast iron tea pot by Rikyu - new with tags! Lovely light green color. About 7.5" tall with handle up x 6.5" long from spout. This was sold to another ebayer who decided she didn't like the color and I accepted the return. She broke the plastic wrapping and taped it as you can see and she also lost the string to the tag that was attached to the spout. Obviously this doesn't matter if you plan to use this teapot but I wanted to explain why the plastic band was broken. The teapot was not used. It is in excellent condition with no issues to note other than a few scratches to the paint on the underside of the black handle. Not terribly noticeable but there. They may be some minor production flaws or minor surface marks from handling. It is heavy, being cast iron, and will weigh about 4 lbs packed safely. Thank you!
