On 14-Jul-24 at 11:08:20 AEST, seller added the following information: This is a collection of antique CDVs and cabinet photos origination Colchester Essex. I think they may relate to the Siggers family as one CDV of a young priest has written on the back “H Siggers”, also one of the cabinet photos. (See Curzon-Siggers #10) The only other one with a name is a young woman “Adeline Pender”. There is a suggestion they were associated with the village of Lexden. I am listing them only as attractive original photos – most come from the studio of William Gill and I think would date 1870s-1900. UK buyers – postage may seem expensive but I will combine – ALL Colchester photographic lots would post for the same postage cost. Please use photos to judge condition.
