Description: For your consideration is a forgotten piece in the WWII story from America's perspective: "A Letter to the American People" by Lawrence Hunt. Published in 1941, it is a pre-Pearl Harbor exposition as to America's responsibility in WWII. Rare by itself, this is a first edition / first print with the original 80+ year old paper dust jacket, but is also SIGNED by the author as shown. Overall great condition with minimal edgewear, pages are clean, no tears, no notes, etc. The binding is in great, strong condition with no loose pages. While it was spurred by a short New York Times article that was quickly recirculated internationally, this is a full-fledged book at 130 pages. A fantastic piece of history and impossibly rare. FREE shipping to the USA and I'm happy to ship internationally at cost. Thanks for looking!
