The watch was purchased directly from the authorized dealer in 2004 and has been worn only on special occasions. The watch has scratches throughout from normal wear that is to be expected over the years. Introduced in the 2000s, the Grand Lange 1, is a slightly upsized version of the classic. It features a 41mm 18k white gold case, a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, a polished bezel, a luminous glossy black dial with alpha hands, and the all-important sapphire exhibition case back. The manufacture and assembly of the pieces from A. Lange & Sohne is top notch and its incredible to look at all the detail. The watch has a few small marks on the crystal that are very hard to see.
