The outer condition Volume 2 is very good with some very minor chip damage and sunning along the spine. The interiors of both Volumes is excellent with very clear and sharp text and clean and clear plates with numbered and titled tissue guards. Princess Marie Bonaparte was a French author and psychoanalyst and great-grandnice to Emporer Napoleon I. Her wealth helped in influencing the popularity of psychoanalysis and aided in the escape of Sigmund Freud from Nazi Germany. This set is a memoir and family history and is exceptionally hard to find outside of libraries and institutions.
