Peacock., 1795. 12mo, 132 x 82mm., unpaginated. Includes 7 folding engraved maps including folding map of the world as a frontis (Australia still showing as New Holland) and 2 which are detached. Full leather binding with chipping to the spine ends, worn to the edges and corners. Possibly lacking the front blank, prev owner's name to the second blank. Some scuffing to the leather boards, esp the rear cover. Pages are clean and tight and in good order save for a couple of pages have a slight ding to the upper edge. Scarce Georgian educational title. One of a number of similar Items I am selling. Fair: Another term for Poor or Reading Copy: Heavily worn or damaged, a poor book will be readable but not attractive.
