Description: "A Christmas Day with Whittier" is a collection of poems by John Greenleaf Whittier. It was published by Charles E Graham & Co, NJ/NY. It is not dated, but all of Whittier's were published from 1837-1890, so this book is probably from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is a small hardcover book measuring 3.75x8.25". The pages show tanning due to age. The illustrations are just gorgeous with bright colors, but no credit is given to the artist. The previous owner's name is inside and there is a small 11 at the top of that page in pencil (pictured). The last page has a small tear on the right edge of the page (pictured). There is wear on the edges of the book and the corners are dinged. Overall, it is in nice condition and is just a lovely antique book, perfect for the holidays.
