Description: Theodore Herman Albert Dreiser (August 27, 1871 – December 28, 1945) was an American novelist and journalist of the naturalist school. In an interesting turn of fate, Dreiser planned to return from his first European vacation on board the Titanic, but was talked out of it by an English publisher who recommended he board a cheaper ship. Fifth edition, July 1927. A charming dedication inside the front cover to Miss Uarda Winton states that the book was sent aboard TWA's first coast-to-coast cargo service (at the time, known as TW&A - and this would place that event around 1935). It is not known who wrote this dedication. Good condition. Not an ex-library copy. Binding tight; spine straight and smooth, with little wear; cover in good condition with minor wear to edges or corners. No major discoloration or foxing observed. Minimal signs of handling or shelving. Packaged with care and shipped with delivery confirmation. If you are not satisfied with the condition of the book, please return the item for a refund.
