(SAMPLE PAGE VIEWS) All books are in PDF format, for easy searching and printing Bookbinding is the process of physically assembling a book from a number of folded or unfolded sheets of paper or other material. It usually involves attaching a book cover to the resulting text-block. Before the computer age, the bookbinding trade involved two divisions. First, there is stationery or vellum binding which deals with making new books intended to be written into, such as accounting ledgers, business journals, and guest log books, along with other general office stationery such as note books, manifold books, portfolios, and etc. Second is letterpress binding which deals with making new books intended to be read from and includes fine binding, library binding, edition binding, and publisher's bindings. A result of the new bindings is a third division dealing with the repair, restoration, and conservation of old used bindings. With the digital age, personal computers have replaced the pen and paper based accounting that used to drive most of the work in stationery binding. Today, modern bookbinding is divided between hand binding by individual craftsmen versus mass-produced bindings by high speed machines in a bindery factory. This is a collection of vintage Bookbinding Books, for a total of 94 books on DVD. Various topics are covered in these vintage bookbinding books. Topics discussed including classic methods of repair and restoration, as well as the origin of books. This is a must have item for anyone interested in book restoration and repair. Comments from happy customers who bought many other of our items from our vast catalog: In 1959 I purchased an original home built “Thing” and ran it for several years on the Willamette River. Years later it got rotten and subsequently discarded. Now the Son of the man who originally built it from the magazine plans in his wood shop in Milwaukie, Oregon works with me and he helped his Dad build it in 1958. We decided to search for the plans and if we found them; I (an engineer) would upgrade it for two adults and build it. I bought your disk and building started last May 25 and it was ready to launch July 20th. You are welcome to use the photos and my “title” as a former white water guild; River Rat Bob from Oregon. Hope you enjoy the pictures attached. I am 60 years old but still chasing the dream as you see from my smile in the boat. Thank you for the great plans. Unbelievable amount of information for the money. I can't wait to get started. -Jeff D., New Mexico. I built the doghouse using the plans I purchased from you a week ago, and it was great. Easy to read and follow, it was a great purchase. The kids helped, and the dog just loves it. Thank you so much. It'll take years to go through all the stuff I want to build on your CD. Andrew H., Colorado. The jungle gym for the kids is amazing. We bought the plans 2 weeks ago, and built the whole thing last weekend. We are so impressed with the amount of information shown. It is a virtual encyclopedia of plans. Thanks. Josh L., New Mexico. My God!! That's more boats than I can build in a lifetime! Unbelievable! The best I have ever seen. Thank you! Craig J., South Carolina. I've seen plenty of plans on boats. This is the best all around package of information I've come across. Jake M., Florida. This has saved me so much time. I've spent weeks looking for stuff like this. Well worth the few bucks to get this CD. Jimmy K., Arkansas. I bought a CD a few weeks ago that had a bunch of links and junk on it that was ripped off from websites and other useless information. I thought long and hard before trying again and buying from you. I can actually use this stuff. I'm so glad I did. A.K., Arizona. Frequently Asked Questions: Why should I buy from you? There are lots of places to buy similar stuff on ebay. What makes you so special? What separates us from the rest is that we want you to be happy. If you're happy, you'll buy from us again and tell your friends. Getting one sale from you is great, but we want the next sale from you and the next one after that. It isn't worth a few bucks to us to have one unhappy customer. If you are unhappy, tell us and let us try to fix the problem. How many sellers will say that? Yeah, so, there are lots of other sellers on ebay. Are you saying the rest of them will rip me off? No, of course not. But, beware of what people sell on ebay. Many sellers on here will charge you an exorbitant amount for shipping. Many will "claim" to provide discount shipping only when you contact them, they'll tell you they'll take a quarter off the shipping price for each additional item. We never do that. Our shipping policy is very straight forward. All of our items ship free to the USA, simple as that, so there's nothing for you to worry about regarding combined shipping! You'll see that we not only offer more content per package then our competition, but also at the cheapest price too. I want to see a sample before I commit to buying. Please send me a free sample. We are sorry that our description, as well as our strong ebay reputation, does not provide you with a strong enough comfort level to purchase from us. With that said, we do not provide "free samples". What if my disk arrives damaged? We offer a no muss, no fuss guarantee that all damaged disks are replaced free of charge. FAST SHIPPING!! All discs are mailed out within 1-2 business days guaranteed!!! ---------------------------- Have you bought plans on CD's on ebay before only to be disappointed? Did you buy a CD only to find a bunch of useless links on it? Did you buy a disc and when it arrives it doesn't work and you can't contact the seller? Well, with us, your satisfaction is GUARANTEED! All of our discs are tested before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction. In VERY RARE cases does a disc get damaged and rendered unreadable in shipment. If our disc shows up and it won't read on your DVD or CD Drive, let us know, an we'll replace it. If you are unsatisfied in any way, let us know, we want you to be happy. In some cases, customers bought DVD ROM discs and tried to play them on their CD ROM. In those cases, it is not our responsibility for your hardware compatibility issues. ALL of our DVD's are clearly marked as DVD's in the auction listing. Shipping and Payment information Pay through PayPal using: We are centrally located in America's heartland in the great state of Tennessee! All items will be shipped out within 1 business day to your PayPal address. We will only ship to your PayPal verified address. Please view our shipping and sales tax rules on our shipping and payments tab above. All items are shipped by USPS first class mail. In an effort to keep our costs down, that are passed along as low prices to you, all of our disks are packaged and shipped in economic sleeves and mailers. All of our disks are labeled with a clean label and some graphics. The disks are made this way for speed and cost, which translates into lower cost for you. We focus our efforts on the quality of the material on the disk. We do not believe in charging you an extra 3 or 4 dollars like some companies out there just to throw in a 25 cent plastic case and slap a color label on an item. We believe you purchase for content, and ours is the best, although we still believe you will be pleased with the presentation. PLEASE READ ABOUT SHIPPING TIMES: The estimated delivery dates shown above are ebay's estimates, not ours. Sometimes ebay's dates are completely unrealistic. Every effort is made to get your item out the next day, but once it leaves us, we ask that you please understand that we do not guarantee delivery by any date, since the USPS does not give us a guarantee either. Below is our estimates on what to expect: USA CUSTOMERS: Most times, your package will arrive in about 1 week after we ship them depending on where you are at. However, lately the Post Office it seems has not been very cooperative with us and we've had a couple of customers wait a few days longer than that. If the item does not arrive, please email us directly and let us know, and we will make it right. NON-USA CUSTOMERS: Same deal above, except your packages typically have been taking about 2 weeks or so after we ship them. We've noticed that maybe 20% of overseas customers have been waiting as long as 4+ weeks for these shipments. The only explanation we can come up with is that it must be stuck in some container in some dock waiting on customs clearance. It happens, and for those 20% of customers, we apologize, but there is very little we can do about that. Your disk will arrive or we will replace it. Multiple items purchased by the same customer may or may not be shipped in the same package, at our discretion. We do not offer any additional discounts on multiple items other than the ones noted above. Feedback Policy: Please offer us a chance to fix any problems before leaving us negative feedback for any reason by emailing us first with your problem. The only thing we ask from our customers is that if they have a problem, that they give us a chance to fix the problem for them before they leave bad feedback. If negative feedback is left without any prior communication, we will assume you are no longer interested in communicating and working things out. If you run into issues and wish to speak with us, we ask that you please refrain from opening a request on ebay and email us directly by asking a question first, and give us a chance to answer you before you open a request! If you have any questions prior to bidding, please use contact the seller above and let us know. Thank you!!!!!! Copyright notice and disclaimer: We ARE THE AUTHOR OF THIS DISK.
