In 1981 I worked backstage security at one of Kris' concerts in Fort Worth, Texas, and had Kris sign a couple of things for me, two of which were photographs of him from the movie Semi-Tough, and one of which was a photograph of him from A Star Is Born. The scene from A Star is Born shows Kris pictured with Barbra Streisand. Kris' is the only signature on the photograph. (And if any doubts exist whatsoever regarding the authenticity of Kris' signature, I still have my Backstage pass from Kris' concert at the Tarrant County Convention Center Theatre, that I can furnish you a picture of. My only reason I did not include a picture of it here is I did not want an observer to mistakenly think I was selling it in this listing as well.) Kris Kristofferson was one on the nicest, most respectful, and genuine super stars I ever had the privilege on enter-acting with. In fact, about a year after the Fort Worth concert Kris returned to Dallas and I again had the pleasure of visiting with him in his dressing room at that Dallas appearance. I have no reason, no ulterior motive in complimenting Kris the entertainer, but I sincerely mean it when I say "RIP, Kris. You will always deserve my accolades."
