Description: 8.93 gram tricolor tourmaline natural with complex termination Paprok Afganistqn. This beautifmtanding tricolored watermelon tourmaline crystal comes from the famous Paprok mine of Afghanistan. This stone features a wide array of colors including a rose pink core an electric green band and a dark ink blue coating and termination. In regards to the termination, the one adorning the top of this stone is beyond unique. To begin the termination has three distinct sharp faces that would create a sharp pointed termination, If not for the pair of intergrown dual terminated tourmaline crystals that penetrate and obscure the original termination. Both of the intergrown crystals are are lite ink blue color and a dark ink blue color at either end of the crystals. The stone also posesses two 1-2mm albite flakes intergrown into the sides of the main crystal. This is a wonderful piece to add to any mineral or tourmaline specific collection.
