Description: In the 80s, we had many different genres of pop music to jam on. Bands that were punk, funk, synth-pop, hard rock, heavy metal, hip hop, R&B, glam and hair metal, country rock, new wave, goth...that decade had it all. Many bands released 12" maxi-singles of their hits, and a lot of those records are hard-to-find and long out-of-print treasures. Today we feature a bundle of four records, each one from the 80s, and each one has extra tracks on them! We'll start with Terri Nunn and Berlin. The song is their awesome hit "No More Words", and on a 12" vinyl record! The A side is "Words", and the extended dance remix. The B side is the extended dance remix of another Berlin hit: "Dancing in Berlin". Two great remixed hits on one 12" record! The vinyl itself looks really good, with only a few very light surface marks on both sides (but a few more on the "Dancing in Berlin" side). Original jacket has a gold promo stamp on the front, and the band members' pics, with song titles and credits on the back. It has some wear, but nothing too bad. Still in really good condition! Next, we have a band called Figures on a Beach. They remade an old BTO (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) hit: "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet", even adding the stutter! It's done in a new wave style, and is actually very cool. I really like it, and I think you will too! That great track is here with FIVE mixes on this sweet maxi-single. The record looks great, and is still shiny and clean. There's a name handwritten on one side of the label on the vinyl itself, and a price tag (from the 80s). The jacket looks really good, but with a little sticker residue on the front of the jacket, (which can probably be easily removed). On the back is song titles and credits. Produced by Ivan Ivan, who's worked with Book of Love, Bow Wow Wow, and Gene Loves Jezebel, among others. Next we go back to the mid 80s with Animotion. That awesome dance pop band had two hits in those days. "Obsession" came out FORTY years ago, in 1984. That catchy and fun track is here with a seven and a half minute long remix! They also add the track "I Engineer", and the nearly six minute long remix, as well as a dub version. Another TWO hit 12"! The vinyl itself looks awesome, and is mostly shiny and clean. I see a mark across the remix of "I Engineer", but it's really light, and hardly noticeable. This comes in a generic Polygram die-cut sleeve, which is in good condition. Last, we have a band called Edelweiss and their one international smash hit song "Bring Me Edelweiss", inspired by the KLF and ABBA. The song spread like wildfire all over the world, and the band stayed active through the late 90s. Edelweiss features three Austrian remixers and a few other musicians helping out. That catchy and interesting track is here with FOUR mixes: the vocal version, the rap version, the tourist version, and the yodel version. And they're all awesome! The vinyl itself looks new, and is shiny and clean. The jacket is also in fantastic shape. Great artwork on the front and back. Grab these 80s records with extra tracks or remixes today. They're ready to come home with you, and to be played loud. They're not scared at all...but not TOO loud. You know your neighbor Karen has the cops on speed-dial! Just tell her to bring you edelweiss. She won't have a clue what that means! (It's a flower grown in the mountains of Europe. See last pic.) Shipping worldwide.
