In these situations, you need all the power going to a narrower bucket in order to successfully dig. Descriptions of All of our Attachments: (see them in our ebay store) HYDRAULIC THUMB: There are several options of thumbs on the market now. Make sure you get the correct one. These thumbs are great for grabbing things like rocks, logs, brush. Etc. If you use it in conjunction with a two-way valve at the end of your boom then you don't have to remove the thumb to use other hydraulic attachments as well (like the auger, etc.). QUICK ATTACH: A nice upgrade that makes switching attachments easier. When you don't have the quick attach, you will spend time trying to line up the holes on your attachments every time you switch it out. With the quick attach, you can quickly release the mechanism and switch out the implement. TRENCHING BUCKETS:8" (200mm) Trenching Bucket: These Buckets are excellent for digging narrow trenches. Additionally, they are invaluable if you have hard and difficult ground that you are having difficulty breaking. Many of the smaller excavators on the market have a 13.5hp engine, if you are having difficulty breaking ground with a larger bucket, switch to this one so that all of that power is transferred into a smaller platform. 15" (380mm) Trenching Bucket: This is your general duty digging bucket for mini excavators. It is an excellent choice as it gives you a Wider trench than the 8" bucket that is less likely to collapse back in on itself while you are working and trying to complete your tasks. BRUSH CLEARING, LOG GRABBING:20.47" Rake: If you have trees, branches, or other debris, the root rake is a must. You can scrape with the rake and utilize your thumb to grab your pile. 20" Log Grapple/Grabber: Great for grabbing Logs, large branches, brush, and more. Rotary Hydraulic Log Grabber: A log grabber with an extra function of being able to rotate on its axis. You must have an additional hydraulic function to allow this. AUGER DRIVEN TOOLS:Auger Powerhead with 6", 8", 12", and 16" auger bit: Drilling fence posts, Tree planting, etc.Anyone who has operated a 3pt tractor auger and lost it to a tree root or rock will greatly appreciate excavator augers. When operating on a mini, you can immediately stop the flow when a challenge is hit, AND you can reverse out of the obsticle. A benefit that will save you time and money.
