We are sure you will enjoy them as much as our neighbors, and we have for early Spring blossoms. How to grow beautiful irises 1. Planting iris rhizomes during early fall approximately 10 -12 inches apart. They can even be planted in early spring or through out the year. 2. Irises are not recommended for shady. 3. They do excellent in a sunny spots with at least six hours of sunlight per day. Preferable morning to mid-day sunshine 4. These plants need well-drained soil. No Mulch 5. Do not plant close together. Some rhizomes are small and some are large. 6. Plants multiply each year 7. Give each plant room to breathe. The last picture shows a sample of how the rhizomes/bulbs look as of March 24, 2024.
