Description: You are looking at a CNC machined billet 4 ring accumulator piston (sometimes also referred to as a dual ring accumulator) for a Dodge Plymouth Chrysler Jeep or AMC Torqueflite transmission. These will fit just about any torqueflite transmission including the 727, 904, 998, 999, 500, 518, 618, 42RH, 42RE, 46RH, 46RE, 47RH, 47RE, and 48RE. Almost every rear wheel drive transmission from 1962 on up to the 2007 48RE Cummins Turbo Diesel overdrive transmission. These accumulators are CNC machined out of solid 6061 billet aluminum. These are a great upgrade for any of the above listed transmissions and are also perfect for replacing the stock plastic accumulator that Chrysler switched to in the late 80’s. The plastic accumulators are known for cracking and causing problems in performance transmissions. These billet accumulators include all 4 new sealing rings which is double the sealing capacity of the stock accumulators. They will accept all the stock springs whether they go between the case and the piston or the piston and the valve body. These are perfect for stock or modified Cummings turbo diesel trucks and also a great upgrade for any transmission behind a gasoline powered engine. These accumulators are 100% Made in the USA.
