I measured it at approximately 72” x 43” excluding the fringe. According to Wikipedia, the “term serape is for the rectangular woven blanket (no openings)”. Saltillo is a city in Mexico, which may or may not apply to this item. I don’t know, but all other online listings for this same serape (even different colors) listed the term Saltillo in the listing. It is in VG-EX condition showing some light stains, hardly visible. You can see some of the hand stitching in the pictures along with some weaving flaws. It looks like the letter “O” in MEXICO might have some thread issues (see PICs).
