Description: 70's VTG M-65 Cold Weather Field Trousers OG-107 Winfield Mfg Large-Reg Click images to enlarge Description Up for grabs is a nice pair of M-65 cold weather field trousers. These are post Vietnam War era trousers with a DSA contract date of 1976 manufactured by Winfield Mfg. Co, Inc. Tag size is Large-Regular (waist 35" to 39", inseam 29.5" to 32.5"). The trousers are made of a 50/50 nylon/cotton blend sateen fabric, are wind resistant, and durable. Color is olive green, shade 107. The M65 is a traditional 'Nam-era design used by the U.S. Army since the early 1970s. The construction of the M65 clothing system evolved from the previous M-series and it is based on the on-the-ground experience of U.S. Army warfighters. Smart design with reinforced knees and simple utility pockets works very well for everyday use, providing versatility and comfort. M65 Pant's relaxed cut makes them a great choice for military fans and EDC. The M-65 cold weather field trousers serve as outer layer in cold-wet climates or as an intermediate layer in cold-dry climates; they also serve as a durable insulating layer of ECWCS to be worn over the liner when the outer extended cold weather trousers are not needed. The trousers have hip pockets, side front pockets, leg cargo pockets with tie tapes and pocket flaps having snap fastener closures, compass pocket, waist adjustment straps, suspender loops, inside button tabs for attaching the insulating liner and leg hem drawcords. Measurements, laid flat, are: Waist: 19” Inseam: 29” Length: 41” These pants are previously owned but in very good/excellent vintage condition.
