Description: 7 Piece Vintage Hand Painted "Cottage Ware" by Keele Street Pottery Co. of England. Company opened in 1915 and then closed in 1941 due to the war. It was reopened in 1946 by the owners son who began producing earthen ware which included the "cottage ware". The salt & pepper shakers are approximately 3" in height and 1 1/2" in width. Please note that both the salt & pepper are missing the stoppers on the bottom. (see pictures). The third piece of this item is approximately 2" square. This item can be used for spices, toothpicks to name a few. All 3 items sit on a tray. The second item is a cheese or fruit plate with a cottage lid and a tray. The tray is approximately 6 1/2" X 5 1/2". The lid that covers the tray is approximately 4 1/2" X 3 1/2" with an approximate height of 4". The lid does have 2 tiny imperfections on the inside of the lid - not visible from the outside. (see pictures). The last item is an open square shaped "ware" which can be used for whatever and is approximately 2 1/2" in height and almost 3 " in width. Never Used. No box.
