Description: 62DU KEY BLANK FOR ALL LOCKS: DATSUN/NISSAN 1974-1980 inc. 260Z & 280Z, Some 280ZX. NOTE: May not fit 1981+ 280ZX or 810, also used DA23 or DA24 Key code Series: M5001-M8000 This key blank will work as a replacement for Datsun vehicles with the following key part numbers: 62DU, DT19, X7, DA21, or DAT6R. If your keys have one of these codes on them, you have the correct key. If not, compare the grooves of your key vs. the pictures closely as they must match exactly. Your original key would have a key code stamped on it with an "M" and a number between 5001 and 8000. This key has a small groove along the LEFT side (see pic #2 &3). Datsun/Nissan used a similar 62DT during this time period which looks similar but is like a mirror reverse. There was also a different looking MZ12 key used on a few models in the early 1970's, as well. Look for those keys in my Ebay Store!
