Description: Ireland decimal Halfpence Bird. A wholesale lot of 10 sets, each set with one each of the 6 dates that circulated in Ireland. Coins are small, being a little less than dime size in diameter, and suitable for jewelry. Coins were selected from a larger group, with an eye for condition, to satisfy the needs of collectors. Although the coins are circulated, they retain some luster. Dates included are 1971, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1980, and 1982. This is the complete set of decimal half pence that actually circulated in Ireland, from the introduction of the decimal system in 1970, until the coins were taken out of circulation in 1986. Two other dates exist, but are not present in this group, and are quite expensive. Half pence of 1985 are rarely seen, being found mostly in uncirculated collector sets shipped out of Germany. Halfpence of 1986 only come in the Central Bank Irish Proof Set of 1986. Shipping, of course, is FREE, via a small priority mail box, with a tracker. Multiple orders are encouraged. I currently have 80 complete date sets of 6 coins each set. I will deduct $7, for each additional 10 sets after the first ten.
