Description: An Excellent set of 6 Nice Metasequoia(Dawn Redwood)Pine Cone Fossils.These are dinosaur aged from the late Cretaceous period,around 65 million years old recovered from the Hell Creek Formation in Wibaux County,Montana.The largest measuring in at 0.78” with the other 4 cones right around the same size & the 1 smallest cone at 0.57”.Unfortunately alot of the cones you’ll see being offered are rather beat up & broken.But these are very solid & heavy fossils for their size,overall being very appealing specimens offering rich colors with nice shapes,size & detail.They’re an excellent addition to any collection or an awesome start to one.No repair or restoration & measured with digital calipers.You will receive the exact six pine cones pictured.
