6 European Polish Solid Silver bright-cut Table Serving Spoons dated 1803

Description: Set of 6 European Solid Silver bright-cut Table / Serving Spoons dated 1803Presented is a set of six elegant bright-cut table or serving or spoons with a very light dated pin-prick dedication on the back of the handle of what I believe to be J. Dunckewitz 1803. Silver of this period is usually made of at least 830 fine silver, American standard sterling silver is 925 fine silver, so there is less silver in this alloy. They have a pointed downturned handle with a rounded drop. These great pieces are hallmarked with a maker’s mark of GDK for German or Polish silver with only some pin-prick dings and only some fine scratches from gentle use and care and some pin-pick dings. This is an excellent set for the collector of antique silver and are great pieces in almost any table service or place setting.
