We can do that by being a dealer in artwork for over 40 years, better controlling our acquisition costs, keeping commission costs low (if applicable). Finally, we don't have the overhead that fine book shops or auction houses have.Published by the Easton Press, they are good condition, leather bound hardcover editions. Each book was part of a limited edition offering. The blank end sheets on the front and back of each book is made of a moire fabric. Raised hub spines. Some minor finish loss to the covers and gilt on the pages. No cards/bookplates come with any of the books.These books all have some sort of condition issues and are being offered here at a discount from what we normally offer our better quality Easton Press book offerings.The books offered here are as follows;1) David Copperfield by Charles Dickens, 821 pages in length, 1979.2) Adam Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, 935 pages in length, 1975. (Some loss to the gold gilt on the covers).3) Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad, 407 pages in length, 1977. (Some loss to the gold gilt on the covers, slight water mark on preface pages, some hardcover loss).4) Typee by Herman Melville, 409 pages in length, 1982. (Some loss to the gold gilt on the covers, slight water mark on preface pages, some hardcover loss).5) Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, 346 pages in length, 1981. (More than normal loss of gold gilt on cut side of pages).6) Faust by Goethe, 183 pages in length, 1980. (More than normal loss of gold gilt on cut side of pages, some finish loss to the hardcovers).These books were part of a limited edition series, not sure how many were actually issued. The books were issued by Easton Press. The spines are ribbed and the smooth cut page edges have a gold gilt. The spine and board is decorated with 24k gold gilt. The book is printed on archival quality paper, decorated end papers, and a satin page ribbon/marker. The books are in good condition. Each of these books has some sort of condition issue which is why we are offering them here at a discount from our other Easton Press offerings. The boards are sharp and the binding is tight. There are no marks in the books and the gilding is clean. No nameplate is affixed or included in these books. Some minor gilt loss on the open cut sides of the pages. The cloth page markers are still attached in the books. No musty or mildewy smell to the books. No marks or owner tags in the books. The largest book is 10-5/16" tall, by 8" across.
