Its stems can grow from 20 to 60 inches long, and are divided into four to six vivid green segments. Parrot's Feather's lushly textured foliage helps provide shade for the aquarium and pond fish. It also provides a hiding place and spawning material for the aquarium inhabitants. Because of its capability of establishing itself in wet soil above the water, Parrot's Feather can be used in waterfall crevices, as well as along pond edges. Stem plants that propagate by cuttings ship as cuttings without roots. Plants cant arrive looking like they were just pull from an aquarium, some melting, discoloration and smell is normal due to the fact they have been a long time in the mail. The lose of red color on red plants is normal during shipping and should be expected.
