Description: Here we have a great group of 55 Cross Barred Venus seashells that we hand picked from the shores of North and South Carolina. Cross Barred Venus shells are known for the great variety of earth tone colors found on them. The shells in this lot range from approx. 3/8 inch to 1 3/8 inch, a couple may be a fraction larger or smaller. All have been rinsed clean. No chemicals or polish used and photographed dry. Although these were carefully hand picked, you may find a few tiny chips or imperfections. Some may have a tiny hole drilled in them that was made by a predatory snail or mollusk.
