Plant immediately outside N-S-E-W, direct or indirect sunlight, into well draining garden soil ~ 4-6” deep leaving 6-4” above soil. Water in and ignore. Be patient during the first year as it gets going. For the first ~4-8 wks - from the budding points (below ground) and generally from the wooded portion (below ground) they will establish roots. Then following initial root development for the next ~ 8+ wks they will grow leaves and branches outward from the existing buds. Branches will extend upward with robust thick green leaves. In late September they will form large buds on their tips that open into beautiful white flowers with yellow centers. Note most centers seem develop very few viable seeds. Hence these plants are awesome growers from propagated stems. They require very little to no attention. Plant ~ 12+ inches or more apart as they will ultimately grow 2-3 ft wide and ~ 40 in. tall. Plant them around gardens, mailboxes, landscaping rounds, light posts, sidewalks, long sides of houses and garages. We love these plants! They are Awesome!
